Refund and Returns Policy

At Peace River Precision Weather Instruments, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality solar products and excellent customer service. We understand that sometimes, a product may not meet your expectations or requirements. To ensure your satisfaction, we have established the following 30-day return policy with a 35% restocking fee for eligible products.

Eligibility Criteria for Returns:

  1. Time Frame: You may return eligible products within 30 days from the date of purchase. The return period begins on the date of delivery.

  2. Condition: Returned products must be in their original, unopened, and unused condition. The product, packaging, and all included accessories must be undamaged and complete.

  3. Proof of Purchase: To initiate a return, you must provide proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or order confirmation.

Return Process:

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Support: Reach out to our Customer Support team via sales@peaceriverprecision.com to inform them of your intention to return the product.

  2. Provide Information: When contacting Customer Support, please provide the following details:

    • Your name and contact information
    • Order number
    • Product name and description
    • Reason for the return
  3. Return Authorization: After reviewing your request, our Customer Support team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please do not return any items without this RMA number.

  4. Package the Product: Carefully package the product, including all accessories and original packaging. Ensure the product is securely protected to prevent damage during return shipping.

  5. Labeling: Clearly label the package with the provided RMA number and return address, which will be provided by our Customer Support team.

  6. Shipping: You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a traceable and insured shipping method to ensure the safe return of the product.

Restocking Fee:

A restocking fee of 35% of the original purchase price will be deducted from your refund for all eligible returns. This fee helps cover the cost of inspecting, processing, and restocking returned items.

Refund Process:

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 5 to 10 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Non-Eligible Items:

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used or damaged products
  • Products returned after 30 days from the date of purchase
  • Products without a valid RMA number
  • Custom-made or special-order items
